Before enrolling in any of Arizona's many colleges, we recommended checking to make sure the institution you select is accredited. Accreditation ensures that the college meets regional and/or national accreditation standards and that you receive the best education possible. There are two types of accreditation: regional and national. Most four-year colleges and universities are regionally accredited. Vocational and career schools are usually nationally accredited. Regional accreditation ensures that the degree you earn is transferrable to other regionally accredited institutions – which again includes most four-year colleges and universities in the United States.
